Clay WhiteAssociate Attorney
Clay is an associate attorney in the Angel Law Firm’s Knoxville, TN office. He is originally from Greenville, Mississippi, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Mississippi State University. After an extensive career in the wood products industry with Georgia-Pacific, Weyerhaeuser Company, and Sierra Pine Ltd., Clay pursued an old dream of attending law school and received his Juris Doctor degree from Charlotte School of Law, achieving two academic excellence awards while there. After bar passage and licensure in Tennessee, Clay and his wife Donna relocated to the Knoxville area, and enjoy living near the Smoky Mountains.
In addition to being an avid supporter of Mississippi State athletics, Clay is an electric blues guitarist in the Mississippi Delta tradition, and enjoys playing in his church’s worship band. Clay represents the Firm’s East Tennessee clients in employment law matters such as wrongful termination, discrimination, wage and hour claims, family medical leave act, and unemployment appeals. Clay also has experience in representing Tennessee clients in a wide variety of family law matters including contested and uncontested divorces, (including marital dissolution agreements, parenting plans), dependency and neglect hearings and child support.
